Who Can Be Referred?

We accept referrals for young people aged 10–25 who are at risk of, or affected by, knife crime, serious youth violence, or exploitation.

Referrals can be made by professionals (social workers, teachers, police, youth workers), family members, or self-referrals.

The information you provide will be held securely by Communities Against Violence (CAV) and used solely for the purpose of assessing and delivering support to the young person named in this referral. CAV operates in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information may be shared with relevant partner agencies where necessary to safeguard the young person or to coordinate support, and only to the extent required. CAV will not share personal data with third parties for any other purpose without consent, except where required by law or to protect the safety of an individual.

By submitting this form, you confirm that you have informed the young person and/or their parent or carer that a referral is being made, and that they have given their agreement for their information to be shared with CAV for the purpose of receiving support.
